Quadratic Stabilization for a Class of Switched Nonlinear Singular Systems
This paper is concerned with the quadratic stabilization for a class of switched nonlinear singular systems. For this class of switched systems, when each individual subsystem fails to be minimum-phase, the quadratic stabilization problem is solved via designing switching law. This extends available results for non-switched nonlinear singular systems.
متن کاملStability Analysis for a Class of Nonlinear Switched Systems
In the present paper, we study several qualitative properties of a class of nonlinear switched systems under certain switching laws. First, we show that if all the subsystems are linear time-invariant and the system matrices are commutative componentwise and stable, then the entire switched system is globally exponentially stable under arbitrary switching laws. Next, we study the above linear s...
متن کاملStability analysis for class of switched nonlinear systems
Stability analysis for a class of switched nonlinear systems is addressed in this paper. Two linear matrix inequality (LMI) based sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability are proposed for switched nonlinear systems. These conditions are analogous counterparts for switched linear systems which are shown to be easily verifiable and suitable for design problems. The results are illustrated b...
متن کاملQuadratic Stabiliy of a Class of Switched Systems
Quadratic stability of a class of switched non-linear systems is studied in this paper. We first transform quadratic stability problem into an equivalent nonlinear programming problem. Then, with the help of Fritz John condition for nonlinear programming problems, we derive a necessary and sufficient condition for switched systems to be quadratically stable. This necessary and sufficient condit...
متن کاملStability of Planar Nonlinear Switched Systems
We consider the time-dependent nonlinear system q̇(t) = u(t)X(q(t)) + (1 − u(t))Y (q(t)), where q ∈ R, X and Y are two smooth vector fields, globally asymptotically stable at the origin and u : [0,∞) → {0, 1} is an arbitrary measurable function. Analysing the topology of the set where X and Y are parallel, we give some sufficient and some necessary conditions for global asymptotic stability, uni...
